The scenario given for this battle in the 'To the Peace of the Pyrenees' supplement to the Pike & Shot Society's Twilight of Divine Right rules makes for a very good match up between Spanish and Portuguese armies (the latter with a little English support) that are not often seen on the battlefield. With friends I have now fought the battle out twice, with different results.
