Certainly different. The "pieces" turn out to not be artillery such, but musical compositions, with the emphasis on Waterloo and Trafalgar as subjects. Fairly obscure composers for most and such a shame that we cannot actually hear what they produced. The text suggests much "Jingoism" but reading music is beyond me.

Beethoven wrote one too, of course – "Wellington's Victory", celebrating Vittoria. Not Ludwig's A-game, I'm afraid.

Beethoven dedicated his 3rd Symphony to Napoleon but withdrew it when he declared himself emperor. Fees may also have played a part!
