It's Saturday morning in the USA as I write. Therefore, it's time for more of General Pettygree's exciting and dangerous Powder River Western Story, Act 3, Surrounded here: link Did the Marshall catch up with The Burdette Gang? What is the fate of C Troop? Is the honor of Red Hat's Lakotas satisfied? So mount up, join Sergeant Quincannon and all the others. There isn't a moment to lose to get in cover in BIG Sky Country out west. Respectfully, Bill P. Chronicler for The Adventures of General Pettygree |

This has turned into a right proper Western, with plenty of twists and lots of cliffhangers. A perfect Saturday morning serial with my cereal!

Looks like great fun, as usual. Though I must say having an officer named Parmenter without a sergeant named O'Rourke is just wrong. |

Great story and game.. I learned that Cavalry troopers would vote to take pistols on campaign by troop. Due to two types of ammo and extra weight.. So most did not. At the Rosebud only one troop had pistols ,Royalls I think and they got the honor..gulp…of charging into the Village, keep up the great work. |

Thankee Pardners! Changing to write a Western has been very appealing to me and your remarks make it even more satisfying. --- Korvessa: You are right on target and I think one of my troopers is O'Rourke. I named everyone 20+ years ago with press on letters. He is not in this story. Nor is Cpl. Agarn who I know is not deployed in this story. --- Purple Skies Everyone*, Bill Rio Bravo |
