Head swaps. And adding weapons.
That's it.

I was surprised at how few TMP'ers do sculpting, beyond simple conversions such as head/arm swaps. I would have thought it was more common than it is. Interesting results. Thank you, Bill, for running this poll, I appreciate it. Cheers!

I mostly get plastics, where you get enough bits to 'sculpt' your own poses and equipment mixes.

I don't know anyone who sculpts their own figures! That sounds really, really hard…

We all do swaps and chopping up conversions. I have yet to find anyone who has done them with plasticene and the mythical banana oil as recommended by Airfix Magazine all those years ago.

I've made some creatures using Hot Glue: a couple of Treants (wire armature); a 24 Hit Die Fire Elemental (plastic sandwich bag as the armature); flaming breath weapons (plastic sandwich bag as the armature) for Hell Hounds, Hot Glued to the insides of their mouths; and frost breath weapon blasts (plastic sandwich bag as the armature) issuing from Winter Wolf mouths. I sculpted a D&D Beholder, with eye stalks, from Sculpey Clay. I'm strictly an amateur, but I liked my results, aside from the Treants. LOL! Cheers!

Back in the 1990s, I sponsored two ranges to be sculpted. Both went into production. I still have what is left of the greens. Lol.
One was 15mm Native American tribes for pre- Columbus Florida and Eastern Woodland.
The second more extensive range was 10/12mm Aliens for my Distant World Battles system which was fast play DBA style. Centaurs, Minotaurs, Avians, Canine, Felines and Androids.
