SCW

I wish they would get into Vietnam.

I think Vietnam is well covered for a conflict that is a bit niche. SCW would make sense to me, I just wish if they are going to do it they make it known as I want to start collecting figures and I don't particularly want to start collecting Empress only for Warlord to bring out a range that is incompatible size wise.

I can't think what would be economically viable other than maybe Vietnam…and there's a lot of excellent Vietnam ranges already. Possibly SCW if there's a large enough wargame market in Spain. A pack of 1940s-ish generic civilians would be good though.

Why not Cold War Gone Hot? Much broader appeal than SCW or Vietnam….

I'm working on trying to get as much use and value for money out of existing terrain so I don't have to invest in any more. I have Spanish/Italian buildings that will do for Tex Mex and a bit of Vietnam if you squint, as well as meaning I can do Napoleonic, Risorgimento and WW2. So SCW is what I'm aiming to do next.

Easy to do Army lists for SCW, Italy invading Ethiopia, warlords China 1920-30s, Chaco War, Franco-Thai War. So much yet to do in that era.
Going earlier to the World War One era can easily be done. Many actions just after the war including RCW, Greco-Turk War, Central Asia Trans-Caucus wars, etc for 1920s.

Timeportal makes a good point; it's not hard to make a workable game for pretty much any period with firearms as the predominant weapon. We still use a field-stripped version of BA for public games at shows because so many people are familiar already and it is so easy to pick up, but the only thing we still use it for at home is….of all things…..the Indian Mutiny and it works a treat – not sure that V3 would work out.
