…concealed carry pistol

"Finding the ideal pistol for concealed carry can be more complicated than picking up a gun and tucking it in your waistband. You can easily tote a full-size Glock 17 all day long, but will it be comfortable? Will the grip print and let everyone know you have a gun? Do you want the business end of the firearm pressing up on your no-no square?

See what I mean? …"

Change the date and that article could have been written in 1980. I'll flip through gun mags at the barber shop -- they have had the same articles for the last 40+ years.

Are these concealed handguns on miniatures?

For me personally it's a Glock 19 with a Glock 43 for back-up

I carry a .22cal Ruger LCP with a 10-round magazine and one in the chamber. It fits concealed in my pants or jacket pocket. If someone attempts to confiscate my personal belongings I just reach into my pocket and shoot, hitting the bad guy in his crotch. Shot placement is most important, not size. I didn't even have to draw the gun out unless I needed some follow-up shots.

I can walk down the street with the pistol in my hand and it's still concealed. Seizing the initiative for a first shot is more important than size. I could get one in .380 automatic but the ammo is too expensive.

My son carries a .45 in the small of his back. The lip on the bottom of the magazine doubles as a bottle top opener for his beer. I beat him whenever we played "quick draw".

Springfield Armory 9mm Hellcat. Fits in jacket or pants pocket (not that I carry it in the latter spot…don't feel like accidentally shooting my balls off!), 11 round magazine, one in chamber. Trigger finger is the safety…
