"he great southern island of Urdor is home to many peoples: dwarves, elves, giants, halflings, men, orcs, trolls, and dragonspawn. Below are brief descriptions of a few of the core ‘civilized' realms – those located in the central southern part of the island – and the peoples who dwell therein. (Notes on other realms and peoples will be provided in a future post.) (Credit notes: The text below draws upon the original descriptions by Terry Amthor, the author of The Court of Ardor. I've revised the descriptions of the realms, sometimes quite heavily [especially Dűshera and Műmakan], in order to render them compatible with Ukrasia, as well as making them more to my taste overall.
