Just played a basic meeting battle with two fairly standard forces, this is a playtest of my new rules. This is a fairly even fight although I guess with the submersibles the (red) Zephyros Coalition force has the slight upper hand, but the (grey) Valtoris Imperium ships can hit hard and take a lot of damage…. The Zephyros fleet split in to two with the main force, the battleship and its escorts and the second group the two submersibles.
The Valtoris ships came on with the battleship being surrounded by its escorts.
The battle soon turned into a close-quarters-punch-up!
