During the last weekend I've been in the historical museum of Fankfurt, where a very detailed painting is displayed. It shows the burning of English goods in Frankfurt due to the continental blockade.

But not only the topic of the painting is remarkable, the uniforms, most of several soldiers, officers, sappers and musicians of a French light infantry unit are valuable for our uniform research … not to mention the two very rarely shown battalion and company flags of the light infantry.

Very interesting. It seems to show standardization of greatcoat color at the company but not battalion level (tan for voltigeurs, grey for carabiniers). It is also another example of white gaiters under (darker) trousers that one sees often in contemporary depictions but which I rarely see on the tabletop.
