We presented a participation game of Salamanca at the Warfare 2024 show in Farnborough UK last weekend. A search of TMP shows this is a popular battle, generating reports from a couple of dozen games over the last 20 years, so I may as well add my own photo-AAR to the collection:

(We did it in 6mm with BBB rules.)

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like a closely contested battle. Congratulations on the display.

Thanks, Gray Bear. Closely contested, indeed – a tribute to Mark's scenario design.

The BBB scenario format of a turn limit and objective locations means that BBB battles often produce a tight climax like this. If the scenario is reasonably balanced, both sides' plans are reasonably sound, and the luck is reasonably even, that typically results in several objectives still being contested on the last turn, all three outcomes still possible (win/draw/lose), and it comes down to the last roll of the dice. It's a good recipe for exciting games.
