"6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains." In the advent of a nuclear war, there is really only one prep to take that will work. Take a lawn chair out in the yard and place your head between your legs, prepare to kiss your 🫏 goodbye. You might see a quick flash and a sudden burn. You might feel a strong super heated wind that will sear your flesh and bones. You might survive initially with severe burns to die excruciatingly in pain. Then you might survive to die an even worse death of radiation. You might make it through all that, to be killed by others for your goods, starvation, thirst or any number of other ways…. But the final outcome will be pain and death. With each step of escalation, things become less and less predictable and the more chance to escalate beyond anyone's control. I guess if you are close to the grave, as some world leaders are, it will not matter. 👴 Subject: Sweden, Finland and Norway release new advice on surviving war – BBC News link |

Oh. How terrible for you. Calm down a bit. No need to become melodramatic. Russia can easily deescalate by leaving Ukraine. Until Russia leaves Ukraine the war Will continue. Vatnik… |

Sting put it best in this song: In Europe and America there's a growing feeling of hysteria Conditioned to respond to all the threats In the rhetorical speeches of the Soviets Mister Krushchev said, "We will bury you" I don't subscribe to this point of view It'd be such an ignorant thing to do If the Russians love their children too How can I save my little boy from Oppenheimer's deadly toy? There is no monopoly on common sense On either side of the political fence We share the same biology, regardless of ideology Believe me when I say to you I hope the Russians love their children too There is no historical precedent To put the words in the mouth of the president? There's no such thing as a winnable war It's a lie we don't believe anymore Mister Reagan says, "We will protect you" I don't subscribe to this point of view Believe me when I say to you I hope the Russians love their children too We share the same biology, regardless of ideology But what might save us, me and you Is if the Russians love their children too |

Soledad: 😂🤣 I am completely calm. Just pointing out the facts of war for those who think they might survive it. There do seem to be a few that may believe that out here. I've been alive long enough to have seen Russia dominate all of Central Europe. So getting too worked up about the Ukraine as the beginning of the end of the West, isn't in my dna. Everyone has their hill they are willing to die on. The Ukraine is not mine. My fear is idiots and foolish peacetime alliances and the mistakes that led to the previous WOrld wars. I seem to remember Central Europe was the fuse of both. |

"Until Russia leaves Ukraine the war Will continue' Thank you for the rational and thoughtful analysis. I'll use my back channel to contact Batman and ask him to call Putin, explain the situation, and start the evacuation of Crimea and Donbas. Many thanks. |

I would be interested to know whether the permission to use ATACMS outside of Ukraine was given with Trump's agreement. Had Biden done it against his advice, I would not expect him to be silent. It's inconceivable that the two of them didn't discuss the war, and it would not surprise me greatly if Trump wants the pressure kept up, rather than relaxed. |

Nine Pound Rojnd – my pure guess is no , this administration is going to do nothing to help Trump's administration or take advice from him. |

And yet he has been silent about it. Since when was Donald Trump one to take something he disagreed with lying down? He has indicated willingness to put pressure on Russia to bring them to the table in some of his recent utterances. I don't hang on his every word, so maybe I missed it, but it seems plausible to me that he might have a negotiating strategy that starts from Biden pressuring the Russians: it's not impossible that Biden is doing it for his own reasons, and Trump is content to let it happen, with the idea of starting from whatever point Biden reaches. |

Using thousands of North Korean troops is not an escalation but using missiles to fire at Russia, who uses missiles against Ukraine every day, is an escalation. What are Iran and North Korea getting from Russia in exchange for troops, weapons, drones, and ammo? Rocket technology? Nuclear technology? Nothing to worry about there. Mike Bunkermeister Creek |

Sting +1 Always liked that song and video … I'll use my back channel to contact Batman He never returns my calls or emails. Batgirl and Catwoman don't either … 🦇 Does Putin have children? IIRC one with his wife. And his mistress, a beautiful former Russian Olympic skater, they have 4 children, I think. That is old intel, but I think it is still mostly accurate …I think … Does he love his children ? They may be expendable like everything else to Putin. |

His version of loving his kids may just be that they have rooms in the bunker so they'll be safe. The relevant question is what does he think of other Russians' children? |
35thOVI | 20 Nov 2024 6:19 a.m. PST |
Smithsco Exactly. Never lose site of the fact that the leaders have safe havens for them and potential loved ones. They will survive for a while after others die. Long term? Probably not. But most leaders don't think long term. Maybe a rewrite of an old quote is appropriate. This time referring to one's loved ones, when it comes to leaders like Putin and others. :What's mine are mine and what's yours are…. expendable. |

smithco +1 … Once KGB always KGB … Putin is just another self-serving corrupt criminal who plays politician. Not that the USA does not have its share of doppelgangers. But as bad are some of our elected and appointed officials are. And they are bad to say the least. They more are about getting rich off the taxpayers $. USD And don't threaten to use nukes every other day … |
Cuprum2 | 21 Nov 2024 12:08 a.m. PST |
I think we can relax until Trump's inauguration – there will be no nuclear war. In Russia, it is assumed that neoliberals are escalating the conflict in order to confront Trump with the fact that any negotiations are impossible… on the desktop before leaving))) |
