As I continue to settle into my new painting studio / office I'm slowly reorganizing my hobby supplies. This week I wanted to find a better way to organize my paints. I had them in drawers but it was very wasteful on space, and a little inconvenient. Especially now that I have a nice 6' painting table.

So I ordered this six-pack of nail polish racks. They are 32" long and come in a variety of lengths and quantities. I'm going to mount them to a board. I may not put every single color in them (it depends if I have space or not). But they have a nice low front lip and are deep enough for all the hobby paints I use – Coat d'Arms primarily, but also Vallejo, Citadel, and various cheap craft paints.

This will let me keep them in sight and sorted by color. Once I have it fully built and installed I'll follow up with additional pics.

The set I ordered included mounting screws, a cheap screwdriver and even a tiny level!

I bought two that have like 8 shelves. It was much easier than hanging individual single shelves

I thought about units like that but I want to spread the shelves to get maximum use out of my space.

As it turns out I had to order more shelves. I got a set of six 15" to add to the set up….
