I heard a wild rumor that Little Wars TV was working on a Starship Troopers inspired set of rules, and there is an entry about their design in their podcast episodes.

I haven't seen or heard anything else.

Do you know anything about it?

Yeah, if you join their patreon for 5 bucks a month you can get a copy. They look interesting. Scale is similar to what Crowe Industries did with their SST rules. The latter players control a platoon and follow a variety of missions.

Thanks.

Book SST or movie SST?

Nobody does the book unless you look at the old Mongoose set with the Grizzlies and another type of power armor. The Avalon Hill boardgame covers them too. Crowe Industries rules cover the movies and the Animated forces. The LWTV do have Maruader teams but only the Light Armored Mobile infantry from the 1st movie (for infantry, so far).

Thanks.

Thanks for info…
I think I'll just try and get a copy from a buddy that's joined their Patreon. While they seem like great guys, their rules writing leaves plenty to be desired.

What's the story with the crowe industries version?
Never heard of it…

I wonder if he has gotten the rights from Sony?
