I watched "A Walk in the Sun". It is a curious film made during the war. I can't figure out if the tank in the latter part of the movie is a real PZ-1b or just a good mock up. I rank it up there with "Pork Chop Hill". It starts out slow but gets better as the movie runs and the real action starts. The P-51 pilot makes some low passes. |

For a dive into Band of Brothers, and still think it's a good series, look into War and Truth YouTube videos, the series did a fantastic job for some of the guys, others got raked over or totally fabrication. |

Waik in the sun is a great movie. the Bridge is also a great film. both try to give a more realistic view of war. |

"Walk In The Sun" is definitely an "A" war film. One of our channels had it playing all day paired with "The Hanoi Hilton," another "A" film. |

I had never heard of "A Walk in the Sun" before, so I gave it a watch. Pretty good for the time.
But I do wonder why they attacked the farmhouse after they blew the bridge. I get the assault as a diversion to blow the bridge, but attacking it afterwards seemed like a waste of casualties. |

Liked " A Walk In The Sun" up to the end. Casualties laying out in the field and the survivors are eating apples and drinking wine :/ |

Seems like casualties at the end should have been a lot worse.
