That this is necessary is almost unbelievable but seems to be on a par with much of the the "post" Cold War "Peace Dividend." We have been progressively handing over our military resource providing to foreigners or single sources. |

We were buying TNT from Poland – cheap and high quality. Suffice to say demand exceeded supply. pjm |

I live in NEPA in the heart of coal country. Back in the woods east of Pittston and Wilkes Barre, there were "explosive factories". They had very flimsy wooden construction, so when the explosions came (that's like Honkytonk bands talking about "When the fights break out…), the walls would blow out and preserve the machinery. 🤔 But that was back in the Heroic Age of coal mining. |
