Anyone doing anything with the big macaque prison break in South Carolina? Strikes me as having all kinds of skirmish/RPG potential, and post-appoc terrain should work nicely. If you're going solo, are the players monkeys or recovery agents? |

Was it really a prison escape or a release? I would prefer being a hunter. |

Well, you can alway take this board game and turn it into a miniatures game. link |

+1 Bill. That's the first thing I thought of when I heard the news. |

What could possibly go wrong? Somehow, reading this again and again puts me less and less at ease: Alpha Genesis, federal health officials and police all said the monkeys pose no risk to public health. link |

Strikes me as having all kinds of skirmish/RPG potential Me, too. Any RPG that can handle the modern era should work, from Call of Cthulhu to Delta Green to Twilight: 2000 to Cyberpunk to Traveller. And of course the monkeys have some issue relevant to the game that the PCs won't know about until late in the game. Maybe they are connected to an Elder God, or they are carrying a pathogen that removes human inhibitions and thus turns people into extremely dangerous monkeys, or they have nanites that bring their cognition to human level which turns them into extremely dangerous monkeys or they're psionic. I guess I know what games I'm running conventions next year. |

Well, if it's sci-fi, you could have them multiply exponentially like Tribbles… ;-) |
