Was tidying up the loft and came across both versions of the game. First edition with the foam pitch and second along with 4 teams.
Getting to the question, would you start playing these rules or buy the newest set and start a fresh. Haven't played the old set since the 90's.

Thanks
Jon

Play the old set. Why bother to pay for the newest, unless you plan to enter a league at the FLGS?

I've done a few things Second Season leagues and the teams and pitch are usable. The rules have been tweaked a little so just get the Rulebook and you're good to go

I still use the earlier rules that I downloaded. My son uses the more current rules that leads to some debates when we play. Either way he always kicks my butt.

+1 John the OFM

If the old game was good enough why go and buy it all again? Unless you're looking at GW tournaments.

Since I (the collective we) are not looking for tournaments. (Exempting lhe 6 trophies (including the wooden spoon))

No new rules; re-read the old ones.

Slightly different question, do we have all the rules? We have blood bowl one, dungeon bowl and star players (book) do we need the "handbook" and is that why it doesn't make complete sense.

Thanks
Jon
