I believe them and the Greek rule set predecessor are discussed with the author on Little Wars Tv.

Thanks for the link. I had seen that, good review but short on the actual mechanics. .After reading the rules several times there are a few things I don't understand. Posted questions on the Blood and Spectacles blog for these rules, which hasn't seen any activity for a long time. Looks like an interesting system.

I have played 20+ games. They are a great set for a quick fun game with a friend without necessarily being the best simulation of warfare of the period
