Do you have flying units for your fantasy or primitive sci-fi (Ewoks, etc.) armies where the flying is not: (1) magic or (2) they naturally fly or have wings?

So, planes, gliders, balloons, etc. No ballistic units (I have them), since they don't fly or glide, they're … ballistic.

I would count charioteers, cavalry, etc. of non-flying units on naturally (not magically) flying units separately.

So yes, but ACAV separate from individual somewhat technology (which may require a healty does of unbelievium) enabled flight.

So, Yes for both categories for me.

I have way too many Dwarf gliders in 15mm, and some in 28mm.

Can't help myself. grin

Cleverly done.

I have no flying orcs, though I do have some Kallistra not-Warmaster dwarf gyrocopters (which really aren't gyrocopters, from the design, but helicopters— somebody needs to learn the difference…).

Some great ideas for the unused wings I have around the room. Thanks!

Nope. Too much hassle with flight stands. But if you'd like to "fly" an Orc with a catapult, or fire one out of a cannon…

Very nice are these "Orcangels"?

I have aerials in HOTTS armies in 15mm otherwise no.

No, that's a different thing …

But I wouldn''t count these for this poll, since the unit "organically" has wings.

I used some Schleich (OOP) Fruit Bat toys, mounting Caesar 1/72 Goblins around their necks: the Goblins are hurling Molotov Cocktails from their Giant Bat Mounts. I made my own flight stands Hot Gluing the large, corsage pin head, to a 2-inch MDF base, holding it vertically; I bent the pin's sharp tip at an angle, so that I could press it into the plastic Bat figure's chest -- this allows the Bat models to be angled/banked, in flight, as needed, for space considerations. The gray-winged bats are official D&D Giant Bats -- I used them as Commanders within the Aerial Bat Cavalry units.

I re-based some Mage Knight Skeletal figures riding skeletal Giant Draconian figures. They're a super-easy conversion for my fantasy mass battles games. Cheers!

Man-O-War fantasy naval — everybody has various sorts of flying units from Dwarven gyrocopters and balloons to assorted dragon and gryphon and teradactyl riders and whatnot.

I did once mount French cuirassiers on toy pterodactyls.

That was, obviously, during my Metal Hurlant phase.

Almost every One-Page Rules STL army, fantasy or sci-fi has at least one type of flying infantry or winged mount units. Very cool. I am especially partial to their Vinci flying platforms.

I mounted goblins with bows on giant bats for my bad guy armies.

I've got Goblin hang gliders, dwarf helicopters, elf Ariel chariots pulled by eagles
