…and all other Sudan projects are 'unofficial'? |

When doing projects the 'official start date' is very important to me. I bought the figures November 2023 but, I didn't paint a single figure until three weeks ago. In other words, although the lead pile was in, the project had not officially started; even the scratch building of a Nile paddle steamer and a town didn't start it – that was just mucking about.
Now the project is 'officially' underway it will be the focus of all my effort until every figure is painted. I'm not sure how many figures are in the lead pile, I didn't add them up, but the price (pre-discount) was over £2,000.00 GBP – so there are a few more to do!
It's how I do all of my projects. This project is a fairly small one. It will probably be around 1500 men, even after later additions. In comparison, my last project, Napoleonic Peninsular (28mm), weighed in at 2700 men and I painted very little else until it was done. |
