As it is 10 years since the "Bloody Big Battles!" ruleset was first published, I want to thank everyone whose support and encouragement, large or small, has helped to sustain and build the thriving community around BBB. That includes many members of this illustrious forum. Thank you all. I've penned a few reflective thoughts on the BBBBlog: link |

Chris, Thanks for all the EPIC battles we have played using BBB and for creating a simple yet comprehensive system to play big battles. Of course, my favorite are the rip-roaring Civil War battles – playing the WHOLE battle with BBB taught me so much about the issues faced by the leaders who were there. I think the most epic was the full replaying of Gettysburg THREE times in a day – or was the the multi-play Waterloo games… ;-) Cheers! |

Scott, the tight, balanced, clear, standard format for BBB historical scenarios – the format that is such an important part of the appeal and success of the game – owes a lot to your scenario format in your "Check Your Six!" WWII air combat ruleset. So here's an extra public thank you to you for that! |
