Today I published a very helpful series showing the "new uniforms" of the Bavarian army in 1799/1800. As this army changed their dress from the old "Rumford" to this new appearance. You find the series in the uniform portal of Napoleon Online at link Greetings from Berlin Markus Stein |

As von Winterfeldt wrote that should be examined in detail, perhaps the regimental histories may provide some information, but I guess, only archival work will definitely answer the question. Greetings Markus Stein |
