I had some leftover artillery bits from my massive ACW project, so I made some wreckage out of it. I also wanted to try my hand at doing some fire, so I got out the green putty and just made a bunch of little sausage shapes and curled them a bit and then stuck them to the base. I also reinforced the putty by putting a coating of super glue over all of it. Then I followed some guides for painting fire, and then finally took some pillow fiber stuffing and glued it on for smoke.

I do like the flames but I think they'll look even better with dark grey / black smoke.
