I have been reading about this conflict over the past few years and believe it is *perfect* for an expansion for The Sword & the Flame rules. It's got it all. |

There's an interesting factoid that the Indians had better muskets. They could choose and pay for the very best flintlock, while the militia was often stuck with surplus matchlock. ("No! You can't have any new weapons until you use up the ones you have!") There has never been a shortage of unscrupulous traders. And government lethargy is legendary. The Indians also had palisade forts, which the Whites had to attack. A bit of a reversal there? Yes. TSATF is certainly very adaptable for KPW. Just adjust a few factors, assign a classification to units, and off you go. |
