"Facial reconstruction of the Ptolemaic Egyptian queen Cleopatra VII (r. 51-30 BCE). This artistic representation of Cleopatra is primarily based on a bust from the Berlin Altes Museum, widely agreed to depict Cleopatra. In addition to the Berlin portrait, the features in this reconstruction are based upon contemporary coin portraits and a bust from the British Museum which may depict Cleopatra…"

If they could just find the tomb we could settle this.

I do believe they found the skeleton of her sister in Greece or Macedonia, where Cleopatra had her killed by the Romans.

Actually there are two different stories about this. An older one that she was found in Turkey. Another more recent in 2023. But there seems to be no consensus.

An archie thinks it's (deep) under her temple and may actually be close to finding it (according to the PBS show I saw. I hope she finds it soon… ;-)

Full sister or half sister?

I believe Cleopatra's mother is uncertain. I would bet there are half-siblings.

History is what we say it is.

"Full sister or half sister?"

You would have to read the stories on the web, I don't remember.

Claudette Colbert was a pretty hot Cleopatra too. And I'm looking forward to Gal Gadot!

But not the Cleo on HBO's Rome. Trailer trash.
BUT… The facial reconstruction isn't all that hot either. But she did have great big tracts of land.

I'd take Colbert over Taylor any time !

Gal Gadot broke my heart with her new facelift. It has destroyed her true character. In my eyes she is not the same.
