More of your nicely painted figures. Are you planning on adding the various reins to your tchanka horses, so they don't go running off and leaving the carriage behind? grin

Hi Jim, I wasnt planning to, I am not much of a modeller and I worry it will look like they are attached by planks of wood.

What paints did you use for the khaki uniforms and groundwork/bases? They look great.

Cheers.

The ground work are all from colour party paints, I will be picking up a bunch more at the Fiasco show in Leeds on Sunday. They have some really lovely colours, ECW Buff is the base a bit of an orange buff colour, then basic buff quite heavy dry brush and a light dry brush of linen.

The Khakis are also Colour Party, I think the base coat is Russian Khak with the highlights a British Khaki then more hihlights are British Khaki lightened down with buff.

I have never heard of the paint brand before. But would like to try them out! Really dig the warmth of your base tones.

Thanks Rocco, its a Yorkshire based small business, 10 minutes from my home so easy to get to for me. They do have a website check them out. As you say they have some very warm colours, that said I do use a real mix of paint manufacturers.
