A heads up for this month's copy of Wargames Illustrated, it includes a free copy of the ECW/30YW version of Never Mind The Billhooks, Never Mind The Matchlocks. Or another way of thinking £5.99 GBP gets you the rules and a free magazine.

Just to note I took KYPD's advice and am very pleased I did. Never Mind the Matchlocks is a good set of rules for a somewhat 'old school' game with some interesting systems at a very good price.

Well, we tried them and enjoyed them a good bit. link We made some minor changes to adapt them to a slightly later period (1680's) but they played fast and they were easy to learn.
