I have been able to find information about the sub-legion flags. However, I can find nothing about the regimental flag I know the Legion carried. Was it a US stars and stripes or something else? |

In all my years and dozens and dozens of books on the period (1790-95) I have never come across a US flag with stars and stripes being mentioned. The sub-legions had their legion banner in the distinctive sub-legion colors, and also carried a blue flag with an eagle. So each SL would have had two flags. link |
