Ahead of Partizan we ran a game at chum Chris Flowers to see if 1920 Mongolia was the right game. game report and photos on the blog, with actual game from Partizan to follow: link

A superb report with incredible photography.

I did not, however, see mention of which rule set was used.

Please advise, as I'd like to also try out this scenario.

Cheers guys, rules are Triumph of the Will with some slight modifications. There will be a follow up report for the game at Partizan this weekend with a bunch more photos to follow.

Fantasic! Where did you get the figures from?

RogerC17 Oct 2024 8:45 a.m. PST

The Majority of the figures are Copplestone now carried by Northstar who have a back of beyond range specifically covering the period. I have however added troops from Empress, Studio Siberia, Artizan and others plus the odd plastic Medieval Mongolian horseman and the odd 3d print such as one of the Tchankas. I do typically credit manufacturers on the painting posts on my blog if you have a flick through.
