How do Stone Mountain AWI miniatures compare size-wise with 25mm MINIFIG or Dixon AWI figures? Are they closer to 25mm MINIFIGs or to smaller 25mm, like Custom Cast or RSM figures? |

Yes I do believe the older Stone Mountain were 22mm or 1/72. |

So they would fit better with Custom cast or RSM. But would also work with MiniFigs, just not in the same unit. Jim |

To set the record straight, the 25mm AWI figures are 25mm and work well with Minifigs. The only difference is that they are slightly more slender and not as chunky. The 22mm figures were only the ACW line. Dave |

I still have a few OG and Front Rank figures but I stopped using them years ago and now only use Perry, Foundry and Eureka. I have some Battle Honor American Dragoons but will probably be upgrading to Perry Dragoons. I especially like Perry's figures. I find Perry's figures ascetically pleasing and more historical. Foundry are great, they make up the bulk of my Continental and British line units. Eureka sculpts are really good and they have units I can't find anywhere else although Eureka bayonets are fragile. I don't care for any of the other brands you listed. |
