I have all of these 54mm ACW figures from my Pickett's Charge game so I thought that i would give them something to do and refight Hooker's attack in the Miller Cornfield at Antietam. Here is the link to my blog for more information about how I developed the scenario for table top action

Blogger doesn't seem to want me to post the actual pictures today and loaded them into this post as a link only. Usually I have better luck. Oh well, the pictures are pretty nifty.

Looks like it should be an interesting battle. Looking forward to the battle report.

Incredible as always! Please consider doing something at next years Chicago Toy Soldier Show, either a display or a game/event. There was an HMGS presence there this year, and your 54mm would be ideal. I even mentioned to a few people, both at CTSS and later at Barrage, that you would be a star attraction.

That is about the best-looking terrain I've ever seen!

@ Enfant Perdus: that's a good idea about the CTSS. I will give it some positive thought.

@ Everyone else: can anyone identify the person that created the HO scale Antietam diorama that is at the top of my blog post. I want to give him credit for some outstanding terrain modeling.

Good looking terrain.

Thank you Mr Fritz.

‘ Is it me you are looking for?'

You very kindly asked for permission for that picture which was lovely of you.

Nice work as always.

Please feel free to access my research on the TMP for my Antietam re fight.

I am currently at around 11.30 AM and hope to post an update soon.

Best wishes,

Chris

Thank you Chris. I was thinking that you were the author of those pictures but I wasn't completely sure. You have made what is arguably the best looking terrain that I've seen. Its realism is amazing.

I'm curious as to how you will reflect the differences in brigade sizes. Early's and Lawton's brigades were nearly 2000 each while Gribsby's and Jones's brigades were under 300 each. A similar difference exists on the Union side with Hartstaff's brigade being close to 1400 while Christian's (Lyle's) brigade in the same division was under 700. Both sides had many depleted units due to previous battles and desertions.
