We reach the final map of our Chain of Command campaign set around Imphal in 1944 and I think this is the real test – does the campaign work and have we fully grasped the bunker rules in the FE Handbook. Many lessons learned (often the hard way) which I try to summarise toward the end of the article. The full report is here Scenario 5: The Northern Bump

Thanks for sharing, as usual, top notch report, great narrative, minis & photos! It looks like you have created a great PSC here, challenging & interesting. That last scenario looks well thought out, balanced and challenging for both sides. I don't know how the bunker rules work in the supplement, would a flamethrower team be a good pick for the British side? |

That last scenario looks well thought out, balanced and challenging for both sides. I don't know how the bunker rules work in the supplement, would a flamethrower team be a good pick for the British side? That would certainly help! Sadly I can find no historical evidence they were used. I think we have the right historical mix of weapons it's more the scenario design that needs tweaking (and better tactics on my part!). |
