Looks like fun!

My fav set of rules for small boat actions. Really conveys the confusion of night actions.

Fitz,
Thanks. Good to hear from you. Doing any coastal actions these days?
MB,
Agree. Do you have each ship needs 6 flotation hits or have you modified by displacement?

Cool game! Barge busting was the PTs main occupation in the Pacific. They never accomplished anything much against larger ships, but they did a job on the barges.

Scott,
Thanks. It is always a good time. Of course my barges are more heavily escorted than most to make it more interesting.

When we did the scenario creation system for Coastal Command back in 1984/5, we found that most PT Boat vs Japan action were against barges. Second was against gun emplacements guarding key positions.

TP, I found the same thing when I was researching Flotilla Forward. Second early it was deployed against the destroyers of the "express" and as the allies moved north against gun emplacements.
What wasn't clear to me was what were the gun positions protecting? Do you know? I assume small beaches and landing spots for barges.

Thanks for the insight.
