Battle taxi for the gnomes?

Back in the 1850s when Commodore Matthew Perry was opening Japan to US trade, one of the things he brought as a gift for the emperor was a 1/4th scale miniature train. It was probably a bit larger than the ones you see at amusement parks, but still too small for adult humans to fit in the cars. Here's a link to a drawing of a Japanese official, robed and carrying his sword, sitting on top of the passenger car. Your train just reminds me of that. link
Now I'm wondering what sort of a game you could make of that.

Musical Train Cars! As the train passes by, attempt to board atop a passenger car. If someone already occupies the car, attempt to knock them off and take their seat. The train goes around the tracks X number of times, those not on the train at the end go to bed without any supper.

Jousting Trains! Two engines occupy the same track and head towards each other, riders attempt to knock their opponent off. I have a feeling that everyone loses this game.
