Guaranteed that there will be toasts to Larry during Historicon dinners. What will Cristie be eating those nights? You must be so much fun at parties. Unless you have some personal knowledge of the matter, I can only conclude that you are ing. |

I think you can do better than reduce the issue down to trolling. If it makes people uncomfortable, then perhaps they should do better by their friend. One day they may find themselves in similar situations and I'm sure they will accept the same efforts on their own behalves as that which they put forth here. |

Mr Cunningham I am a miniaturist, which makes me a consumer, which makes me part of a target market. TS&TF is a product with a target market, which happens to be my miniatures hobby. Being a product target doesn't sound particularly friendly. I played TS&TF at the early HMGS HMMCs & then Historicons 1980-1990. When I moved to the Pacific Northwest I got to play with Lynn Bodin, until his passing. It's still my go-to rules for certain scenarios. However, through all this I remained a consumer(target market) of a product aimed at me. Friendship was never part of the equation. The relationship was always a business transaction, as in "money for product." I even sent a donation to the "HELP CHRISTIE" CRUSADE. But, I consider that donation a "sunk cost." I would like to see a 40th anniversary rules set, and would not hesitate the purchase. However, as a consumer (target market) of a commercial product, I cannot fathom the "why" behind the excoriation of us who are behaving as consumers. Cheers NJH |

I think I did mention friends and not customers. |
