In high school, I made friends with the Norwegian girl, exchange student. I enlisted in the Army, and we kept in touch. Stationed in Germany, I made the trip to visit her (and her four roommates). I returned to duty and ran into my battery commander. He asked me how did my leave go. I just looked at him and replied, "You're lucky I came back." pjm |
