Hi guys

Part 8, Portuguese African colonial wars project , Swedish troops, the figures are the same as I used for the Irish, painted the same as the Irish, except the arm patch, and a couple of SKP-bil m/42 white elephants, next up will be some Indian troops.

Interesting looking vehicle. All those slanted armor plates remind me of the WWII German halftracks and indicate somebody definitely took the concept of sloped armor to heart.

Wikipedia (yeah, yeah, yeah, I know . . .) mentions that machine gunners on these beasts were shot in the waist often enough during operations in the Congo (gap between the armored vehicle body and the machine gun ring) that a modification was made, adding some armor there.
