My collection is made up of Front Rank figures. I am looking for additional mounted command figures for variety. Which brand's mounted command would match up best with Front Rank?

Perry, Foundry, Old Glory, Others?

I don't know about size-wise but for style I think Calpe Miniatures would be a good match to Front Rank (IMO).

At least with single mounted figures any difference in size would be pretty unnoticeable. So you should be looking at sculpting style rather than scale.

I have found that sometimes, the horse your commander sits upon helps take away some of the size disparity. try a nice sized horse, one with a little beef on him, it will make a difference.

I have Elite, Connoisseur and some Hinchliffe on same bases as Front Rank.

Redoubt and Calpe miniatures both match up pretty well.
When Doug was selling 28mm, he stopped around 2010, at his store The Miniature Service Center he carried Front Rank, Redoubt and Calpe for this very reason.

I added some Front Rank miniatures to one of my Victrix Bavarian units. I did this mostly because I could buy Front Rank as single models and I only needed a few to use up the odds left over from the Victrix sets to make another unit. Front Rank are a bit chunky compared to Victrix (or most other manufacturers) but once painted up they mix with the victrix okay I think. this base has two front rank and two victrix on it. its obvious, if you look closely, which is which but not from 3 feet away on the table obvious.

Mounted Victrix officer next to Front Rank Drummer again I don't think there is anything outrageous size wise.

I've never put them side by side but, Calpe are very similar in style and would probably be a good fit – especially for 'command stands' outside of units. Some Foundry might also fit in – I'm pretty sure the hussar in this FR group is a Foundry figure.

I believe the Calpe line was specifically designed to mix with Front Rank, because at the time FR did not make Prussians.

Piano Wargames in Germany would fit; a little trimmer, bur similar in size.
