MetaChess is a hybrid board game which blends classic chess rules with agnostic war-game style rules. Players can customize their teams, break out the RPG dice and set up on that old/dusty/lonely chess board. Set aside your traditional chess pieces (we don't need them here) and populate the board with your favorite war-game miniatures. Setup your team like a standard chess board with 8 identical minis for the pawns, matching pairs for your rook/knight/bishops, and individual minis to represent King/Queen. bases just have to be under 2" in diameter. And don't miss THE SHARPE EXPERIENCE Come see memorabilia and equipment used in the making of the Sharpe films, including the amazing Nock seven-barrel volley gun, a Baker rifle, 'Sharpe's Sword' and the Standard of the South Essex and lots more! |

A couple of last minute games…. Battle on the Peneaux 1940 The Germans are concentrating for their push deeper into France proper. After forcing the Allied forces defending the river back, the Germans move to exploit their break-in of the enemy forces. Fall of the Third Reich, April 1945. (BYOA -- Bring Your Own Armor.) The US, British, and Soviets are linking up at the Elbe, with the remnants of the German Wehrmacht caught in the middle. Here's your chance to either crush, or valiantly defend, the Third Reich. Bring your own armed forces. Any (6mm, micro-Armor, 1/200) models that represent any fighting vehicle built before April 1945 is game. While not exactly historically accurate, it should be a wild and crazy time! |
