Just a cheerful reminder that the CTSS is getting underway in Schaumberg, IL! Although the show proper is on Sunday the 22nd, room trading starts tomorrow and goes through the weekend. Most importantly, there is no admission charge for room trading!

I've had the pleasure of meeting some TMPers at past shows, so if you're planning on being there look for Fortress and Fleet and say hello! I'll be trading Friday and Saturday as well as having tables for the Sunday show.

I have always wanted to go and now that I live in south west Kentucky I am planning to go.
The plan is next year, rent a car, drive up with the wife, say a night or two, buy army men and go home with the haul.
it's about a 6-8 hour drive.

It's worth a visit. I was going to go until my boss told me that I would be working instead.

I missed last year for several reasons, mainly because when the longtime owners/promoters ended their tenure, I didn't think anyone would be able to pick up the show, find a new location, and have things squared away in a matter of months. As it turns out, Matt from Hobby Bunker pulled it off and I heard nothing but great reports. I'm very excited to see the new location (Marriott) and get the vibe of the revitalized CTSS!

Bunkermeister, you may be interested in checking out the Lafayette show in March. It is heavily slanted to plastic (which I know you're into) and is a reasonable drive for you.

Hobby Bunker picked up the West Coaster, in Kalifornia, too. They have done a great job with it ! thumbs up
