What can I say that hasn't been said a bajillion times here.

Excellent quality minis (WW2 10mm), excellent communication and that shipping time was a breeze.

My wallet is going to weep……

If in the USA, darkhorsehobbies.com stocks them and shipping is quick.

Checked Darkhorse site and looked at the Germans. Very low inventory…

Popular range. As you may know, there is a long lead time for shipments from UK---especially if you are a business. At least they try to keep stock on hand but with so many periods, focus must reinforce what is selling.

Thanks for looking on behalf of Darkhorse.

It's cheaper to buy from Pendraken

Yeah, Pendraken is like that. I have that same problem with Irregular. They keep selling me just what I ask for--friendly, promptly and no fuss. And after a little while, I start looking for something else to buy.

Captaincold69. Depends where you are I guess. Also, how quickly do you want/need it. My experience ordering from overseas has been less expensive for the "pack" but killer on shipping both in cost and time to actually receive. Not always specific to Pendraken (although the owner is really a great and fair guy), I support an American business who invests in stock and realize that they also have to make a profit. Usually, US dealers can get your order to you faster so I guess that and free shipping if you order is over the threshold are also factors. At least we agree that Pendraken figs are the standard due to the variety.

Order placed 9/4 with Pendraken, delivered on the 12th and I'm in Seattle, WA

For the "buy US", yes, I agree, to an extent. The US retailers need to stock what I want in order for me to buy from them. Also, if it's cheaper to buy from the UK over a US retailer, well, I'm more loyal to my wallet than a store that is across several state lines.

I do not mean to poo poo your nationalism (I support my local game store for all my paints/brushes)

@captaincold69:

Thanks for the kind words, always appreciated and good to hear that the package arrived so quickly!

Just for info generally, I'd always point people towards Dark Horse as a first port-of-call for our products. Steve's put a ton of work into expanding and building stock levels but with our catalogue being so large these days, it'll take a while for him to have stock of everything. He can always order items in for you if needed though.
