It seems work will be taking me to Santiago, Chile. Was wondering if anyone has recommendations for hobby-related places I should visit (gaming stores, bookstores, museums, etc). I have a keen interest in the War of the Pacific; I was hoping to visit the ironclad Huascar but it seems that's quite a bit away from Santiago. Thanks for any ideas. |

It us a few years since I was in Santiago, but I dimly recall a couple of decent museums. I didn't come across any games shops. |

If you do go to anything WotP, please take photos! Always had a big interest in the period too… |

Apparently there is a small but dedicated War of the Pacific museum in Santiago and the Chilean museum of military history. Hopefully I can visit these two…if so, I will definitely take pictures and post. |
