$12 USD for a $40 USD "Board Game" 40K very very very Lite. One (1) titular "marine" figure with utterly absurd "chain sword" 20 "Tyranid Termagants" (new fancy name for Genestealers, aka Aliens rip-off) 2 Tyranids "Ripper Swarm"— baby Genestealers. "Aren't they cute?" Bunch of other junk nobody cares about. What's the game like? WHO CARES?! I've got more aliens for Space Hulk… plus an extra Marine in "Terminator" armor (I think that's what it's called)… possibly a Lieutenant? For $0.52 USD cents a fig? I bought two sets (2 Louies and 44 Alien-rip-offs) Steal deal! |

It might be specific store only thing. Target's online website has the game for 39.00 |

Clearance prices aren't listed on the corporate website. For example, the same store I bought my copies at still lists 2 via the corporate website, but at original price, even though they are $11.99 USD in store. You have to go into a store to see if an item is actually clearanced. And yes, clearances can be location and store specific. Typically where several stores are within a fairly close radius, all of them will clearance the same things at roughly the same time. However, across broader distances that might not happen, and there's no guarantee that local stores will follow the same clearance pricing. Also, clearance price structures at Target stores follow this pattern: 30%, 50%, 70%, with each drop in price happening over a week or two week period. After that, the products are offloaded to a local deep discount retailer (like Big Lots or Bargain Hunt), or sometimes donated to charity stores like Goodwill. |

Oh, and if you go to Target, don't be stopped by the price on the shelf or the package (if it lists one). Take it to one of the scanners located around the store and do a bar-code scan. The clearance price will show up there, even if there's no clearance label on the shelf or package. (I just did that today for some inkjet cartridge packs. I had found them listed as clearance on the shelf at one store, which was sold out. I went to the other store— 5 miles away— and there was no clearance sign or sticker… but a scan showed they were 50% off anyway. Stocked up (cleaning out that store). Now I'm good to print all sorts of things… like maybe Space Hulk walls and what not. |

I checked out my local T today. Nope, none left (all 2 of them, remembering from earlier visits.) On the way back home, stopped at a thrift store, found the complete DVD series of Square Pegs for a buck, so, not a wasted trip… ;-) |

Worth a look at my local target. I always need more "Bugs Mr. Rico, millions of 'em!" (Don't tell my players.) |

2 boxes still available at $11.99 USD at my local Target (Franklin, TN), if anyone's interested. |
