"France is embroiled in war with Austria as Napoleon races from victory at Castiglione into the ragged peaks of the Tyrol. Not sure what to make of Schlicker's book. Is he trying to start a new genre, a sort of novel-come-history book? Reading the sample pages it reads like a novel, yet the hype about it suggests it is a military history title. I've added it to my list of 'to-buy-eventually' titles, which never seems to get any shorter (thanks for that Armand!) and I have yet to come across any reviews of the title. Still, keep then coming Armand.

Just discovered another title by same author Napoleon General, Mountain Paths. Both marked as being published on same day and year but no details of contents, maps etc or reviews by anyone who has actually read either title!
