Hi all,

I attended Pacificon last weekend over here in Ca, in the Bay Area. I wrote a little recap on my blog for fun and no profit. Not a huge con but of reasonable size. West coast cons seem to hardly get any press. 😁

Some pictures, some jokes, and who knows what else. check it out why not?

I remember living in the Salt Lake Valley. We didn't have any conventions there back then, and there didn't seem to be any on the West Coast to attend. The East Coast cons were just far too far. Even now, in Colorado, the East Coast conventions are so-o-o-o-o-o far away.

Great show. I went there twice as a vendor. 1985, 1986.

"Sorry, the page you were looking for in this blog does not exist."

I went to PacifiCon and had a great time. Played Supremacy (1980's board game), Dungeons & Dragons (celebrating 50th Anniversary of D&D this year), Werewolf (never played it, but I couldn't resist wild west train robbery), Azul (great board game that I'd never played before), Splendor (great boardless card game that I've played many times). I think I played something else, too, but I'm drawing a blank.

Went to the dealers' room and the flea markets and didn't buy anything!

Low point was that I messed up my schedule and missed playing any Sky's the Limit! games. This is a great game of WW2 fighter combat that is intuitive, fun, and beautiful.
