The WW1 Memorial in Washington, DC, will be completely unveiled this month has the 60 foot sculpture will be presented. There was a CBS Morning News article on the design of the sculpture this past Sunday. You can view that piece athttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zYGla3jW1o . In addition, the August WW1 Dispatch from the Doughboy Foundation: link covers the details about the first illumination of the memorial on Friday, September 13.

Way to late to matter to the Men who fought in WW1. It should have been as large as the WW2 and not just a remodeling of Pershing Park.

It will be covered in spray paint within hours.

I have very mixed feelings about this. It's way too late, and pretty much just exists because of fundraising companies went through the other wars.

Saw the CBS Sunday Morning show. A magnificent memorial and
that will evoke emotions in all who see it. Also
American Legion Magazine had a good article. Seeing it on
tv, it stands out and will serve as a wonderful tribute
and honor to those who fought The Great War. It also
portrays the cost of war.
