I'd have to count. I've seen some version of all three multiple times. I've seen the RP Macbeth several times. In any case, I'm putting them out there as movies someone here may have watched repeatedly. IMHO, polls need to be inclusive; the point of the poll itself is to narrow it all down— which of course it will do. |

Is RP's Macbeth worth looking for? I like the play. Oh, BTW, he's not an unkillable monster … Shakespeare stole that prophecy of invulnerability (with a loophole) bit from Tolkien. ;) Speaking of that trope that probably originated in djinn stories … where's the djinn movies? As long as I am blithering … what about home movies? I'm sure some people here could nominate wedding videos … |

Polanski's Macbeth is the best version, Throne of Blood coming a close second. Makes a good double-feature with Fearless Vampire Killers (his last film before Sharon Tate's murder, the Scottish film was his first one after that for quite a juxtaposition of mood). |

None for me life has enough evil running around to waste my time. (not including the Shakespeare) |

"As long as I am blithering … what about home movies? I'm sure some people here could nominate wedding videos …" Properly edited, the appearance of the mother-in-law, accompanied by the strains of the stabby Psycho violin score, becomes an impressive jump-scare… ;-) |
