Boxer Rebellion / Black Flag gun crews

picture

I'm working on building armies for both Boxer Rebellion and Black Flag Pirates for my TSATF games. Though they are distinctive and separate forces my research has shown that some of the figures can be used for both armies, IMHO. Here are some Chinese gunners converted from 25mm Old Glory Boxer Rebellion minis from their colonial range, codes CBC-01 & CBC-02 Boxers attacking with Swords and Pole Arms.

Nice little conversions I'm doing Black Flag with Gringo 40. Obviously does not mix well with OG or Wargames Atlantic. (Sigh!). With TSATF how are you ratting the Blk Flags and Vietnamese for melee and firepower? ferd45231@gmail.com H

Very clever conversions! I especially like the buffed rammer.

@Ferd45231, I altered the morale and firing of the Black Flag troops for what I thought felt right. I can email you the unit cards I made for the game. Since we had no Vietnamese figs I didn't create any stats. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on that.

@Nick Stern, thank you buddy. These were really fun to do.

@Alakamassa, yes indeed, I was a metal smith and jeweler for many years! You must've recognized the jewelry bench and drill.
