Dial base?

Stryderg30 Aug 2024 8:07 p.m. PST

To keep track of kills, no doubt.
Is that a space marine on his shoulder? If so, I hope he doesn't actually launch that missile!

The dial base is used to keep track of void shields on the Titan.

Yes to keep track of voids shields… Old School .. my Titans date back to '90-'91. old fart

That is an SM on the Fire Control Platform on the top of the carapace. Out of scale, these Titans are closer to 1/500 than 1/300. So, a 3mm SM would be more accurate … But back then there were no 3mm SMs. Regardless … looks kind'a cool!!! 😎😁

That's an old Sov OSA-II. I think one sold to the Finns. And yes, that thing with the outlet right next to the bridge is a missile launcher.

Back in the day, we use to alternately marvel at and mock that. It's an example of the "bullets over butter" Sov design principle. And it's not scifi…

Wow !!! That Sailor is pretty close to that launcher ! I'd imagine no one is topside when those missiles are fired …

Of course, that out of scale SM is in Power Armor, that may protect him when the missile is fired.

But that sailor … he is only wearing his uniform made out of cloth !
