I'm told that long-time TMP member Jonathan Keepers passed away yesterday. He had been in long-term care due to complications of diabetes, and died from complications of Covid. Rest in peace, old friend. |

That's too bad. I remember when he tried to "negotiate" a peace between FROTHERS and TMP. A Don Quixote move, but that was him. 👍 RIP |

I repeat Michael May's sentiments. We are all on the edge of tomorrow. |

The man did live, eat, and sleep wargames, painting miniatures (a true fan of 1:72 plastics), and building original terrain pieces. Widowed twice, and lost a son to schizophrenia, he had more than his share of personal tragedy--but kept his laughter and signature big black Stetson in the hobby as long as his health lasted. He helped organize and operate conventions in the OKC area for decades, most notably the annual TwisterCon, as well as special events elsewhere. A special presence in the hobby here in Oklahoma for almost fifty years, I'm not sure he can be replaced. "DUDE!" TVAG |

He was a good guy. Fun but stubborn. We lost touch somewhere, but I didn't miss him until now. |

He was such a mainstay of TMP, and a great guy in real life. I loved our email conversations. :-( |
